But who would have thought I ended up getting the staff there to join me with the photo shoot in this winter wonderland at Hawrelak Park?!

1. Under the icicle archway Under an icicle arch, through an ice opening, is a must-take photo at the Ice Castle! This year there are way more archways than previous years too so less waiting/fighting for prime archway photo spots! lol 2. Sitting on your ice throne The Ice Throne is always a great photo spot.

Tickets to the Ice Castles are $16.95 for ages 12+ and $12.95 for children ages 4 -11. Tickets can also be bought at the door but, they'll be more expensive. Prices at the door for ages 12+ will be $20 whereas children ages 4-11 will be $15. Hours of operation will be Mondays to Thursdays 3 pm to 9 pm, 3 pm - 10 pm on Fridays, 12 pm - 10 pm on.

This acre-sized icy attraction in Hawrelak Park in Edmonton takes around five weeks of growing, harvesting, and hand-placing up to 10,000 icicles to build the annual ice castle.
